Chikkamagalur: Wife tests positive for Covid-19; Husband dies of heart attack

Chikkamagalur: A man died of cardiac arrest after hearing that his wife tested positive for Covid-19 in Aravind Nagar, Chikkamagalur

The deceased has been identified as Basavaraju (68), retired SSI. It is said that Basavaraju’s wife Jayamma (60) tested positive for Covid-19 and was admitted to the district hospital.

On hearing the news, Basavaraju died of heart attack. Soon after, his wife Jaymma too died in the hospital

The last rites of the couple were performed by the BJP squad at Uppalli
