Kaup: Teen ends life after parents chide her for playing games on mobile

Kaup: A 16-year-old girl committed suicide by jumping into a well after her parents scolded her for playing online games on her cellphone in Manipur Kote, Manipura village, Kaup on May 15
The deceased identified as Suhebat Aslamiya is the daughter of Zubeida and Shaban
It is said that Suhebat was scolded by her mother for playing games on mobile. She also took away the mobile from her. Later, Zubeida went to offer namaz and Shaban went to have a bath
When Zubeida came out of the house after namaz, Aslamiya could not be found. They began searching for her and just 200 meters away from their house, they found a crowd of people gathered near a well
They then found out that Aslamiya has jumped into the well. Later, Fire personnel rushed to the spot and lifted Aslamiya’s body from the well.
A case in this regard is registered at Kaup police station.
