Mandya: Residents of Nagegowdanagudde village in the Malavalli taluk in the district here performed a special ritual by the name ‘Nadamari’ to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic from entering the village.
The ritual involved keeping three stone on the road leading to the village and performing poojas on it.
Reportedly, the villagers were worried after four residents tested positive for the virus.
Hence, they performed the Nadamari ritual for the first time to ward off further spread of the virus in their village.
