Miscreants cut open ATM machine and loot Rs 17.50 lakhs

An incident of ATM theft was reported from Maddoor town’s Kolli circle.
Miscreants cut open the ATM machine and robbed Rs. 17.50 lakh stored in it.
Taking advantage of the absence of a security guard, the fraudsters used a gas cutter to cut the ATM machine.
The robbers also destroyed the CCTV camera with the gas cutter.
SP Ashwin visited the spot to investigate the robbery.
Malavalli DySP, Laxmi Narayan Prasad informed that an investigation team will be formed and the accused will be arrested soon.
A case has been registered at Maddoor police station.
