Mangaluru: The owner of a bakery at Karnad in Mulki was attacked by a group of locals for expressing support on Facebook for Israel’s actions in the recent 11-day conflict with Hamas.
The attackers threatened the young man and forced him to apologise and recorded the whole ordeal on video.
Later, with help from some religious organisations, a complaint was filed at the Mulki police station against the attackers.
MLA Umanath Kotian and a few local BJP leaders visited the bakery and the police station.
