Manipal: Businessman dies in road accident

Manipal: A real estate businessman, who was seriously injured in a road accident on the national highway at Kelaparkala on Friday, died at the KMC Hospital here.

The deceased has been identified as Vaman Nayak (58), a resident of Manipal.

Nayak was riding a scooter on May 28 towards Kelaparkala when a speeding minitruck hit the scooter.

A seriously injured was immediately rushed to KMC Hospital. However, he died on May 29 succumbing to his injuries.

As Nayak was involved in financing and real estate business his friends and business associates have expressed suspicion over the accident.
