Bengaluru: The official Twitter account of the Chief Commissioner of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike(BBMP) was hacked for a few hours on Friday morning.
The hackers on the handle left their trademark as TESLA on the commissioner’s official page and few tweets on cryptocurrency were posted. The display name of the account was later changed to ‘–’.
However, it is not clear whether the follower count of the BBMP Commissioner’s account or its tweet count had been affected.
Commissioner Gaurav Gupta has said that necessary action is being taken up.
