Mysuru: District in-charge minister ST Somashekhar said that the conflict between the two IAS officers in the district has become so much worse that it is not in his hands anymore.

Speaking in the city on Friday, he said, “I have brought to the notice of the chief minister the issues between Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri and Municipal Commissioner of Mysuru City Corporation Shilpa Nag. The chief minister would take the appropriate decision now.”

“I won’t comment on who’s right and who’s wrong. The chief secretary of the government will be coming to Mysuru. More information will be given after his arrival,” he added.

“My priority presently is to control COVID-19 spread in the district. Mysuru has been suffering from the pandemic for the past year. The district has the highest number of COVID-19 cases after Bengaluru,” the minister said.
