New Delhi: A youth is alleged to have issued a death threat to Prime Minister Narendra Modi because he wanted to go back to jail.

The youth, Salman, 22, was reportedly out on bail. Last night he called the police and said, “I want to kill Modi [PM Modi]”.

The police swung into action and arrested him from northeast Delhi’s Khajuri Khas area. During the questioning the youth claimed that he wanted to go back to jail and thus he made the call.

Meanwhile, it is gathered that considering the threat was issued to PM Modi, the intelligence officials, too, will interrogate Salman.
