One more ‘black fungus’ death in Udupi

Udupi: One more person died of mucormycosis or ‘black fungus’ in Udupi on Thursday, June 3. It is said that a 55-year-old man was diagnosed with Black fungus on May 30 and was admitted to the hospital.
It is said to be the second victim of black fungus in the district. Earlier, a 76-year-old woman had died of the infection at a private hospital in the city.
Currently, three people are being treated for the infection in the district.
