Chikkamagaluru: Teacher writes mail to her students to fend off lockdown blues

Chikkamagaluru: Geetha, a teacher at the Lower Primary School at Aldur in the taluk here has received praise for her initiative to write physical mails to her students and know about their well being.
Geetha had surprised all the students in the school by writing each of them a mail.
She had asked the students about their and their families health and advised them not to use mobile phones more than necessary.
Inspired by her caring gesture, many students too have already written back to her.
Geetha has been receiving mails continuously from her students for the past four days.
As news of her initiative spread, words of appreciation and gratitude from others too poured in for her effort to keep alive the art and culture of writing mails.
