Davanagere: Woman commits suicide after allegedly being cheated by lover

Davanagere: A woman residing at Bharat Colony here committed suicide on Sunday after being allegedly cheated by her lover.

Asha (22), a beauty parlour worker, was in love with KB Eeranna, a bill collector at the BESCOM office in the city.

Eeranna had acquired Rs 2 lakhs and jewellery from Asha and had promised to marry her.

However, later he allegedly cheated on her and is supposedly already married.

On Sunday, when her parents had gone out to sell vegetables, Asha made a video where she demanded that Eeranna must be sent to the gallows and hanged herself.
