Mysuru: Former Deputy Commissioner of Mysuru district Rohini Sindhuri has alleged that there could be possible land mafia-politician nexus behind her spat with Mysuru City Corporation Commissioner Shilpa Nag and her transfer.

A report stated that Sindhuri, now a commissioner at the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, has said that her relentless efforts in protecting government land and water bodies have irked many.

She mentioned encroachment clearances at Ayyajanahundi and Keergalli Lakes and the case of Kurubarahalli where the clearance issue went to the Supreme Court as examples adding that these incidents are where the plan for her ousting started.

Reacting on Nag she said that she pities her and was now sure that her outburst was because of her insecurity and desperation stemming from some action.
