CM BSY praises ASHA workers for their selfless Covid care work

Bengaluru: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Tuesday interacted with ASHA workers from different districts and appreciated the selfless and dedicated service rendered by them in Covid-19 care.

BS Yediyurappa said that a special Covid allowance of Rs 3,000 per month will be paid to all ASHA workers of the state. He then praised them for their efforts in helping the Covid-19 victims with proper aid and assistance.

ASHA workers too informed him of the Covid situation in their districts and also shared their experiences regarding the pandemic with the  Chief Minister.

Hemalatha from Dakshina Kannada participated in the video conference and shared her experience regarding vaccine hesitancy in rural areas of the district.
