BR Shetty hospital staff go on indefinite strike to demand pending wages

Udupi: The staff of Koosamma Shambhu Shetty Memorial Haji Abdullah Mother and Child Hospital went on an indefinite strike from Wednesday, June 9 to demand pending wages, which they claimed have not been paid for three months now.
The agitating hospital staff staged a protest at the hospital and demanded payment of pending salaries, inconveniencing the patients.
They also alleged that their Provident fund has not been credited since last October.
