Bengaluru: Revenue Minister R Ashoka has hinted at a 5-phased unlock process in Karnataka. The state has been under lockdown mode since April 27 to control the spread of coronavirus.
While the lockdown restrictions remain in place till June 14, experts have advised the government to initiate a phased unlock process. The suggestions from the expert panels come as the fresh COVID-19 cases are not falling at a uniform rate across the state.
Speaking to reporters here Ashoka, said that subject to the chief minister’s approval, trade timings will be extended till 12 noon in the first phase of unlock process. Also allowing walking and jogging in parks is in consideration, he said.
