Bengaluru: Minister Dr K Sudhakar has said that as the State is facing financial losses, lockdown could be relaxed after June 14, however, if COVID-19 cases increase then stringent measures will be taken.
Speaking to reporters in Sadashivanagar here, he said districts with more than 10 per cent infection rate should take serious action while districts with infection rate within 5% should be alert. More and more tests should be conducted by all districts.
“Travellers entering the State must be tested at checkpoints and villages must be sealed down if 5 infected persons are reported in them. All infected cases in rural areas must be immediately admitted to COVID Care Centre,” he said.
“Unnecessary outings must be avoided. Everybody will get the vaccine within the next 3-4 months. Until then, all of us must comply with the government rules and guidelines,” Sudhakar added.
