M’luru, Udupi: ‘Cardiologist’s at Door Step’ project’s 2nd phase to begin soon

Mangaluru/Udupi: The second phase of the ‘Cardiologist’s at Door Step’ project organised by Dr Padmanabh Kamath, head of the cardiology department at Mangaluru’s KMC Hospital will begin soon.

Under this phase, the ECG machine will be handed over to gram panchayats or Anganwadis.

50 villages have been selected in the second phase. The villages were selected on the basis of population density.

More villages will receive ECG machines in the third phase.

The villages that received the machines in the first phase are Mennabettu, Sanuru, Miyar, Padumarnad, Puttige, Balepuni, Salkeri Mogaru, Kodimbadi, Sajipamunnur, Nujibaltil and Muchhur.
