Mangaluru: Synthetic drugs racket busted; Hubballi youth arrested

Mangaluru: Hubbali based youth has been arrested by Kadri police officials in connection with the synthetic drugs trafficking racket.
The arrested accused has been identified as Umesh (22) from Hubbali who is a second-year student of hotel management course at Manipal.
Umesh was arrested based on the information provided by Mohammad Ajinas (25) who was arrested by Kankanady Police for peddling synthetic drugs. They recovered synthetic drugs valued at Rs 16.8 lac from him.
Ajinas had revealed that he was sending drugs to his two accomplices by registered parcel. On the basis of information gathered, they arrested Umesh.
Further investigation is underway.
