Hassan: Two brothers from Beltangady killed in car accident

Hassan: Three people including two brothers from Beltangady were killed and another person suffered critical injuries, after a car rammed into a lorry on late Saturday, June 19 night.

The deceased have been identified as Jayaprakash (25) and his younger brother Yogish (23) from Indabettu in Beltangady. The identity of the other person is unknown. The incident took place at Kenchattahalli, outskirts of Hassan.

As per sources, a lorry driver applied sudden brakes near Kenchattahalli as there was a road hump, as the result the car which was speeding behind the lorry lost control at the juncture and rammed into it.

The injured person was admitted to the district hospital for treatment.

Local traffic police visited the spot and conducted spot inspection.
