CM BSY reviews Bengaluru suburban rail, doubling projects

Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, Revenue Minister R Ashoka on Thursday inspected the Bengaluru suburban railways and track doubling projects with top officials.
They were briefed on the progress of the ongoing works in the Baiyappanalli-Hosur and Yeshwantpur-Channasandra routes.
Officials also briefed them of the proposed extensions of the anticipated suburban railway project in the city between Kengeri- Ramanagaram, Chikkabanavar-Tumakur, Whitefield- Bangarapet, Rajanakunte-Doddaballapur, and Heelalige-Devanahalli routes.
