Udupi: Minister BC Patil on Saturday, June 26 said that Former Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi should not resign from the MLA post.

Addressing presspersons here BC Patil said, “Some people are plotting against Ramesh Jarkiholi to end his political career. Everyone will get to know the truth soon, therefore he should not resign from MLA post”

This statement by BS Patil comes around a time when there are reports of turmoil among BJP leaders in the state after which MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi had decided to resign from his post.

BC Patil further speaking about some Congress leaders naming Leader of Opposition as the next CM candidate said, “Where is the congress party in this state. It is a sinking boat and people will never vote for them in the 2023 assembly elections. They are simply daydreaming.”

“People will vote BJP and we will come into power in 2023,” he said.

Reacting to Minister CP Yogeeshwar’s Delhi visit he said, “I don’t know anything about his Delhi tour. He is a minister and might have gone to discuss about his department’s work.”
