Kundapur: Police officials on Sunday, June 27 rescued more than 30 cows that were put together in a violent manner in a house at Kudru, Gulvady gram panchayat.
The raid was conducted after receiving a tip-off from Hindu organizations. While 25 cows were taken by the police officers, 5 cows belonged to the locals.
The operation was led by Kundapur rural (Kandlur) station sub-inspector, Sudha Prabhu. Also, several Hindu activists and locals gathered at the spot.
