Kundapur: 30-year-old dies in head-on collision with pickup truck

Kundapur: In a fatal road accident, a 30-year-old was killed in a head-on collision near Belve petrol pump on Tuesday June 29.

The deceased is identified as Laxman Naik (30), son of Mohan Naik, resident of Thombathu Irige in Hengavalli village. He was the sole breadwinner of his family.

It is said that while he was on his way to work, a pick-up truck carrying poultry hit his two-wheeler. The pickup truck ran over him, killing him on the spot.

A case in this connection is registered at Shankaranarayana police station.
