New Delhi: Cooking gas LPG prices were hiked by Rs 25.5 per cylinder effective from July 1, 2021.

A 14.2-kg cylinder in Delhi now costs Rs 834.5 as against Rs 809 per 14.2kg cylinder earlier.

This comes as fuel rates continue to touch record highs across the country. The prices of crude oil and petroleum products in the international market have been rising since November last year.

Generally, state-owned oil companies revise the price of gas cylinders (LPG Price) at the start of every month. The prices however remain unchanged in May and June.

With this latest hike, the LPG price has increased by Rs 140 per cylinder since start of January 2021.
