Mangaluru: A 25-year-old youth who was reportedly set on fire by his father succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, July 1.
On June 21, accused Vishwanath Shetty (52) had an argument with his son Swamith shetty (25) over tying cows outside the house.
In a fit of rage, Vishwanath Shetty poured petrol on his son and set him on fire.
Swamith suffered severe burns and was admitted to the hospital. A case has been registered in the nearby police station.
