Vitla: Four people were injured when a medical college bus collided with a bike at Mangalapadavu near here on Friday morning.

The bus belonging to a private hospital at Mangaluru’s Attavar was carrying the staff of Wenlock, KMC, and Lady Goschen hospital.

Three nurses in the bus and the bike rider were injured in the accident. All were admitted to Vitla Community Hospital.

A huge disaster was averted as the bus, fortunately, got stuck in the trees on the side of the road and stopped just short of falling into the abyss.
