Mangaluru: The official website of its Zilla panchayat (ZP) shows Dakshina Kannada as having only five taluks while the district has 7 taluks.

The website which was last updated on April 30 mentions Beltangady, Bantwal, Mangaluru, Puttur and Sullia taluk panchayats. But, there is no mention of Kadaba and Moodbidri taluk panchayats. The two taluks were formed two years ago.

It also does not have the maps of Moodbidri and Kadaba taluks. The district deputy commissioner’s office, maps of Kadaba and Moodbidri taluks have been separately shown with different colours.

Moodbidri MLA Umanath Kotian said that he will question the Zilla panchayat officials as to why the details of these taluks were not uploaded.
