Bengaluru: A 30-year-old man and his elder brother were arrested after they allegedly entered their landlord’s house and robbed the landlord’s wife of 150 gm gold, 3 kg silver and Rs 2 lakh in Bengaluru.

It is said that the accused named Aravind who was a cloth merchant by profession, was facing a financial crisis and thereby robbed the lady on June 26.

The accused apparently gagged the woman with cloth and adhesive tape and threatened her at knifepoint.

The woman somehow freed herself and ran outside, after which Aravind and his wife immediately rushed to her place and Aravind called the woman’s husband as well and informed him about the same.

The police caught the accused within four days of the crime as they left adhesive tape behind at the scene and further investigation and medical examination led to their arrest.
