Mangaluru: Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel detained a person after he allegedly tried to climb the perimeter wall of the old Mangaluru airport Monday, July 5 night.
The man has been identified as Rakesh a native of West Bengal.
The patrolling team of CISF spotted Rakesh at the old airport where the runway construction work is in progress.
Rakesh has been handed over to Bajpe police and he has been booked under the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against Safety of Civil Aviation Act, 1982.
As per reports, Rakesh is employed as a lorry cleaner in the city and he was dropped by the lorry driver without clearing his dues.
