Bhandari Swagath Ranveerchand appointed new Kasaragod DC

Kasargod: The Left government in Kerala on Wednesday appointed Bhandari Swagath Ranveerchand, a 2010 batch IAS officer as the district collector (DC) of Kasargod.
Her appointment was part of a major rejig in the top bureaucracy in the state which saw over 30 IAS officers getting new postings.
Bhandari’s predecessor, Dr D Sajith Babu has been appointed as director of civil supplies department.
Bhandari has become the first woman DC of the district. She has earlier served as the director of industrial department.
