Belthangady: A man and his sister-in-law who had allegedly eloped from Beltangady’s Kanyadi taluk have been found in Kodagu.
It is said that both were taken into custody, questioned, and produced in the court. The woman refused to return to her parental home and the court ordered her to be sent to the remand home at Mangaluru.
As per the missing complaint lodged by the woman’s father, Mohammad, said that his younger daughter, Raihana went with his son-in-law Mustafa on July 8 and has not returned home since then.
The complaint states that Mustafa developed proximity with his wife’s sister during his visits to his in-laws house and used to chat with her over the phone. Recently Mustafa’s wife had arrived at her parents home following some difference with him.
On July 8 morning, Mustafa had arrived at their home along with his mother in a car and Mohammed’s younger daughter went with them without intimating any of her family member.
