Mangaluru: APMC yard compound wall collapses; many 2 wheelers damaged

Mangaluru: The compound wall of the APMC yard at Bunder here collapsed due to the non-stop rains damaging several vehicles parked in the adjacent apartment building’s parking area.

The incident occurred on Saturday, July 17.

13 two-wheeler vehicles parked in the Nalapad Kunil Towers building were buried under the debris of the collapsed wall.

Due to the rains children, who usually play in the area, were not present there averting a major tragedy.

Apartment residents stated that they had reported the dangerous wall to the authorities many times but to no avail.
