Surathkal: A one-and-a-half-year-old child drowned in a bucket full of water while playing.
The incident occurred at Katipalla near here.
It was reported that the child’s parents were busy with household work when the sleeping child woke up, went to the toilet and started playing with the water in the bucket there.
The child then fell head-first into the bucket and drowned.
