Koramanagala bank murder case: Two accused try to flee, shot in leg and caught

Bengaluru: Koramangala police have arrested two persons accused of murdering a rowdy sheeter at a bank in front of his wife and other onlookers.
The arrested have been identified as Pradeep alias Chote and Ravi. Upon a tip-off that the accused were spotted near Begur lake on Wednesday early morning the cops rushed to the spot.
The duo however tried to escape by assaulting the police personnel, who then fired the accused at their leg and arrested them. The accused have been admitted to the hospital for treatment and will be interrogated after their recovery to ascertain the cause for the murder.
A sub-inspector and an Assistant Sub-Inspector rank officials of Koramangala police have also been injured in the incident and are being treated at a hospital.
On Monday, the deceased Babil was attacked by masked assailants inside a bank in broad daylight. The accused even attempted to attack his wife who was with Babil at that time.
