Vishala Ganiga murder case: One more person held in Mumbai?

Brahmavar: Police investigating the Vishala Ganiga murder have reportedly arrested a man from Mumbai for his involvement in the crime.

The arrested is said to have sold the gold ornaments that had been robbed from Vishala’s house on the day of her murder.

On July 12, Vishala, a native of Gangolli was strangulated to death at her Uppinakote residence. Within a week of the murder, police solved the case and arrested one person from near Nepal border in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. The main accused in the case Vishala’s husband Ramakrishna Ganiga too was arrested for plotting the murder.

As per the police Ramakrishna the murder plan was hatched nearly six months ago and Ramakrishna contacted the killers through another person. Police are searching for him and another person who was a partner in the crime.

Meanwhile, Ramakrishna has been remanded to judicial custody after his police custody ended on Friday, July 23.
