Belagavi: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa said that no one else got the status and opportunity that I got in the BJP.

Speaking to reporters on Sunday in the city here, he said, “I am satisfied with the party. The work I have done so far has brought comfort to me. I will do as instructed by party elders.”

“I too am a common party worker and I’ve got everything in the party,” he added.

Replying to the query as to who does he think can be his successor, he said, “Wait and see. There is no shortage of leaders in the BJP. No big change will occur if I go. The goal of all of us is to win more seats in the next election. We have to further build the party and we are all united in this.”
