KAMS stops online classes for a day after attack on its Gen Sec

Bengaluru: The Associated Management of Schools in Karnataka (KAMS) on Friday organised a one-day ‘bandh’ of online classes after its General Secretary D Shashi Kumar was attacked by unknown assailants.
The attack occurred on Thursday night.
Kumar was attacked in front of his house in Mutyalanagar in Jalahalli, Bengaluru.
Soon KAMS sent messages to all member schools asking them to not hold online classes on Friday as a mark of protest.
The reason behind the attack was not known.
