Chikkamagaluru: Wild elephant dies by electrocution

Chikkamagaluru: An incident where a wild elephant died after coming in contact with an electrified fence was reported on Sunday.
The incident took place in the Gaalipooje village of the taluk here.
The owner of the farm had illegally electrified the fence to protect the farm.
The site was visited by forest and police department officials and the owner of the farm was arrested.
