Udupi: Young woman missing, 3 others who entered sea rescued at Malpe beach

Udupi: An incident of a young woman who entered the sea with others and was not found was reported on Sunday at the Malpe beach here.

Three young women and a young man from Kodagu had arrived early in the morning at Malpe beach.

They reportedly continued to play in the seawater even after being warned by locals.

Minutes later all four of them were struck by a strong wave.

One of the three women is missing while the three others were rescued by locals.

The three have been admitted to a private hospital in Udupi.
