Bengaluru: Many MLAs who did not get a ministerial berth in the new State Cabinet held a meeting running late into the night at the residence of MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi on Thursday.

MLAs Shrimant Patil, Mahesh Kumathalli, Arvind Bellad, former MLA Pratap Gowda Patil and MLC Raju Gowda were present in the meeting.

It has been reported that the MLAs have expressed displeasure at being excluded from the Cabinet.

It was also reported that the MLAs decided to hold another meeting on Friday to discuss their plans, but no information was available about any such meeting occurring on Friday.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai had reportedly learnt about the meeting of the MLAs and invited them to discuss on the issue of injustice being done to them. However, the MLAs did not meet the chief minister and decided to do so only after their second meeting.
