Udupi to get PPP medical college, announces CM Bommai

Udupi: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai announced that a new medical college will be built on a public-private partnership (PPP) model in the district here and others where there are no government medical colleges.
He made the announcement during a visit to Udupi on Thursday.
“Udupi is first on the list of districts where a medical college is planned, Thus, a college will be built here on PPP model instead of a government medical college,” Bommai said.
The chief minister also took note of the report published by Udayavani on the various demands of developmental projects in the Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.
