VP lays foundation stone of Innovation & Development Centre in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu on Monday laid the foundation stone of the Innovation & Development Centre at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) in Bengaluru.
It will be developed into a facility where laboratory inventions will be taken forward for scale-up and technology transfer.
“Science is the backbone for the progress and technological advancement of any country. This institute generated over 300 patents and promoted few startups based on indigenous inventions,” he said.
Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, Chief Minister Basavaraj S. Bommai were also present.
