Mangaluru: Missing youth’s body found at Kotepura-Bengre estuary

Mangaluru: The body of a youth, who had gone missing two days ago, was found at Netravati river at Ullal.

Hafeez who was a resident of Bastipadpu of Ullal, went missing on Friday, August 20.  It is said that his mortal remains were found at Kotepura-Bengre estuary.

Hafeez was a daily wage labourer and he had left home on Friday morning. As he did not return home at night, the family members began searching for him.

On Saturday, August 21, his two-wheeler, slippers and mobile phone were found parked near the Netravati bridge.

After a prolonged search by police officials, fire personnel and local fishermen, his body was found and retrieved.
