Bengaluru: Primary and secondary education Minister BC Nagesh said that government does not propose to cut down on the syllabus of the children in the current academic year.

Nagesh agreeing that the schools have started functioning three months behind schedule said that the syllabus can be completed if it is possible to conduct all the classes and if certain holidays are cut short.

The minister further added that they will issue instructions to complete the syllabus within the specified time by cutting down certain holidays.

“We will ask the concerned to prepare a timetable of academic activities accordingly,” he clarified.
