Bengaluru: In a bizarre incident, an entire bus stop was stolen in TC Palya main road in Bengaluru.

Yes, you read that right. The bus stop located in Anandpura was stolen by a few miscreants. Cops claim that they used welding tools to uproot the entire bus stand.

However, there seems to be a reason behind the bizarre theft. It is said that after the construction of the bus stop, a commercial complex was built right behind it. Several shops were given for rent in the complex.

The shopkeepers had earlier complained that their shops were not visible to the customers as the bus stop was right in front of the complex.

Locals suspect that this was the main reason behind the theft. A complaint has been filed at KR Pura police station and officials have retrieved the CCTV footage.
