Ullal: Man detained after dead buffalo with slit throat found near his farm

Ullal: A man was detained after a carcass of a buffalo with its throat slit was found near his farm.
The incident occurred at Koliya within Ullal police station limits on Sunday.
It was reported that a scooter was also found near the site of the dead buffalo.
Police suspect that the people who killed the animal escaped after the incident leaving the scooter behind.
Workers of Hindu religious organisations registered a case at the Ullal police station against the farm owner who was detained later.
