112 helpline will assist and respond to people’s plight, says Speaker Kageri

Sirsi: Speaker Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri said that the new 112 helpline will help people in addressing their plights.

Launching an awareness campaign for the helpline in the city on Monday, he said that the 108 helpline will be operational for health emergencies and the 112 helpline can be used for safety issues.

DySP Ravi Naik, town council president Ganapati Naik, vice president Veena Shetty, tehsildar MR Kulkarni and others were present during the awareness event.
