Puttur: Couple stuck in well rescued

Puttur: The Fire Department here rescued a couple who were stuck in a 60 foot deep well.
The incident occurred on Monday at Keyyur village in the taluk.
Sunanda (48) had gone to draw water from the well and accidentally fell into it. Her husband Sadashiva Rai on learning that Sunanda had fallen into the well climbed down to rescue her however, both couldn’t find a way to climb up.
Soon nearby residents found out the situation and contacted the Fire Department who sent and team and rescued the couple.
