Mangaluru: A man here has filed a complaint against his wife with the district’s superintendent of police suspecting that his wife has joined a terrorist organisation.

Chidananda, a resident of Neriya village in Beltangady taluk, has stated in the complaint that his wife, Raji Raghavan, who has been working in Dubai for the past 11 years, came to visit him and their two daughters on July 11.

Since then she has been insisting that she must take her daughters with her to Dubai.

Chidananda then started receiving calls from an unknown man from Lakshadweep who threatened him if he does not allow his wife to leave with their daughters.

Then on the night of August 26, Raji went missing from their house.

Chidananda filed a complaint and the police found out that Raji has taken admission at an ayurvedic hospital in Mangaluru for a 10-day course.

He suspects that Raji has joined some terrorist organisation and wants their daughters to do the same.

In his complaint with the SP, Chidananda requested that the organisation where Raji works in Dubai should be investigated and also the caller from Lakshadweep.
